JOB TITLE: AutoCAD & Sketchup Drafter
SUPERVISOR: Principal Designer
JOB TYPE: Contract
JOB DESCRIPTION: Interior Designer with a minimum of 2 years experience in a design firm with the ability to create both 2D and 3D drawings and design presentations with the use of AutoCAD and SketchUp. The ability to work well within a team and also a self starter that is able to work independently. The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail and a high level of organization.
Please note that as an independent contractor you must provide your own tools, equipment, and software necessary to perform the work.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with the design team to create design drawings and presentations

Utilize AutoCAD and SketchUp to produce detailed design drawings/plans.

Assist in developing visual presentations that convey design concepts to clients.

Maintain an excellent attention to detail in all design work.

Work closely with the team to ensure projects are executed successfully.

Maintain strong organizational skills.

Multi-task effectively and meet project deadlines.

Work independently and within a group setting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
2+ years of Interior Design experience at a design/architecture firm.

Bachelor's degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

A combination of education and experience will be considered.

Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.

Ability to handle feedback and constructive criticism professionally.

Familiarity with design finishes and fixtures and vendors.
