We're so excited to share the details of a recent project, the renovation of a 1960's home in San Jose. Inspired by the Japandi design movement, we sought to infuse this home with a rich blend of natural elements and intentional material selections.
Before we get into all the details, let's take a look at some before images!
Kitchen Upgrade
One of the key focal points of this project was the expansion of the kitchen. By making it bigger, we aimed to create a more practical and welcoming space for the homeowners. Now, the kitchen is not just a cooking area but a place for creativity and quality time. To give the home a fresh and textured feel, we added handmade tiles. These tiles, along with ceramic pendants, brought a warm and earthy vibe to the space.
Organic Touch
We updated the living room to include natural tones with a bright pop of color in the mustard sofa. The zellige fireplace surround brings texture and depth to the room and we love the custom handcrafted coffee table made by local woodworker Oxford Design.
Gorgeous. I love how serene it feels. The mustard couch is a beautiful addition - everything feels really special in this home.
